Literally everyone with a brain knew he wouldn't keep even 30% of all the promises he made. He literally lied through his dentures as best he can so he can grab any and every vote imaginable. He literally went for the "obtain votes at ALL COSTS" strategy. His main goal was simply to win...no real plan. Ugh. Still better choice than Trump for obvious reasons but damn did the democrats choose one horrible leader to represent the party...ONCE AGAIN.

are we even surprised? Biden’s entire plateform was based off of just getting Trump out of office, and realistically I doubt we’ll see any real changes.

I'm ok with violent criminals being deported. Sounds good. Our jails are full enough. The Illegal border crossing after November 1, 2020 is fine too. They need to cross legally, without their illegal drugs.

It sounds like he’s actually restricted ICE’s powers because they now need to seek permission to arrest people that don’t fall into the dangerous criminal category or arrived after Nov 1. 
This seems more like a tactic by the ACLU to pressure the administration to keep its 100 day promise.

This. Like, that title isn't even accurate at all

Y'all need to accept that Biden is still very much dealing with Trump's left over crisis and he's doing so with the slimmest majorities in congress that we've seen for decades.

If you think these first two years, possibly the next two, won't be "give and take" then you're kidding yourself.

Making it harder for ICE to just straight up deport anyone is better than doing nothing while saying "we want to stop them from deporting period".

Just like covid relief, just like the minimum wage, this isn't his goal and it's not the end of his fight but it's a compromise he HAS to make for the moment so SOMETHING happens
