So is he also living in a house with no heat or power? Or it is just the poor plebeians that can freeze so the big bad federal government doesn't mess with his taxes or something? :vegas:

Forget that guy. The regulations and requirements put in place by the Feds clearly work the way they should, otherwise the same thing would be happening every winter!

I hate how the Texas government acts all high and mighty and too good to contribute to the US, but then when disaster strikes and all hell breaks loose they beg for a bailout from the Federal Government. Right-wingers are such hypocrites!!!

God, he's such a monster. It really is insane when you consider how much of the state is having power troubles or is without power and/or water. I was trying to explain to some relatives on zoom (they aren't from the US) that Texas is so massive you can fit the U.K. in it twice.

This coming from the guy that wanted to dissolve the Department of Energy months before Trump put him in charge of it. Notice how it's still around. The guy is just plain stupid.

I hope you are okay!

We’re still lucky to have running water. I know some people don’t, but we haven’t had power for 3 days. Not even a little bit. It’s kind of annoying because at least other people get their power turned on and off periodically. We’ve gotten NOTHING

UGH I literally have been freezing for the past 48 hours. I lost power when it was 17 degrees. I was just lucky my friend let me come over, and then THEY lost power and water :cyanlights: If they had not filled the bath tub with water I don't know what I would have done. We used that water for almost 2 days for everything and sat next to the fireplace cold AF with no lights, water, or food. I am coughing now and feel really sick and I still feel like I was lucky. Outrageous
