Mister G

Thankful I got to see this show a few weeks before everything in the US shut down. If you're a fan of Celine's I strongly recommend going to see her live. Definitely worth the time and money.

Why cancel instead? :oprah:

Because a lot of people (including myself) want our money back. Honestly, those €400 could go a long way right now

Uhm, please no. There are also people that want to see her instead of getting their money back.

If you want you money back, you can still get it back, when it's postponed there's always an option to also cancel the ticket you have and get your money back.

It's the perfect solution, everybody happy.

You will one day. But I feel peoples financial security is much more important.

It’s up to the event organizer if the ticket is refundable after it’s been postponed. With most big artists, this is never the case.

If it’s cancelled, every person gets their money back, and those who want to see Gaga next tour can save that money and buy a ticket next time.

win win for everyone, people are guaranteed money back, and those who want to see her have money to purchase future tickets after the pandemic is over.

Well, isn't it EVEN better to hope for the organizer to choose for "refundable if desired"? You say that "it's never the case", but from what I have seen and experienced, it has always been this case.

Even for this first postponement of TCB, it was the case, so I don't know what you're getting at. (Or maybe it was different for the N-A dates? Where are you going?)

---

The thing is, if she postpones the tour, it's more guaranteed to see her again (soon), than if she cancels and be like "oh, we'll see when she does another tour?", you know what I mean? Also, the stress of buying tickets is INSANE, so, it's perfectly normal to want postponement with the customer having the choice:
1) your tickets are honored for the postponed show
or
2) you get a refund
