Meanwhile in the Midwest we just got 10 inches of snow and I just went out for pizza :vegas:

You can’t compare living in the Midwest with living in Texas. We aren’t used to these conditions. We don’t have snow plows, salt trucks, or basements for our water pipes, and hardly anyone owns snow tires. It’s entirely different.

Tell that to our animals that have to be without heat since we can’t turn the farm heaters on :triggered:

I live in north Texas, a couple hours north of DFW and it’s gotten pretty bad up here. We have been fortunate enough to not lose our power, but there are a whole lot of people in town that have been without electricity for over 12 hours. Our city hasn’t opened any warming stations or offered really any help at all. It’s a very sad situation and even more scary considering we’re supposed to get snow tomorrow and Wednesday as well.

My. Lawyer. Liked. That.

They’ve been rotating g power here in San Antonio and it was fine for a while (on for 20 mins, off for 20 mins) but now our power only comes on for a minute and goes off again for over half an hour :neyde:

Yeah, that really sucks I’m sorry :ohno: our intervals with power have gotten shorter and shorter to the point we’ve only had power for a few minutes in past hour and a half. The temp is gonna drop back below 10 soon so I’m bundling up
