We aren’t used to these conditions. We don’t have snow plows, salt trucks, or basements for our water pipes, and hardly anyone owns snow tires. It’s entirely different. NewYorkOnTheWeeknd 1,577 Posted February 16, 2021 Share Posted February 16, 2021 I live in north Texas, a couple hours north of DFW and it’s gotten pretty bad up here. We have been fortunate enough to not lose our power, but there are a whole lot of people in town that have been without electricity for over 12 hours. Our city hasn’t opened any warming stations or offered really any help at all. It’s a very sad situation and even more scary considering we’re supposed to get snow tomorrow and Wednesday as well. My. This is bad 😭 EDIT: They’re trynna turn off the water in some parts because pipes are bursting.
