people are allowed to find it weird when he hops from young girl to young girl when he’s a father of multiple children. i’m not insinuating he’s a legit pedo but like someone said what kinda issues does he have if he can’t date someone his own age. as a female who has been preyed on by older men, actually one when i was 19 and he was in his 40s, it can point to larger issues (which in my case, he did have issues and i had to file a restraining order).

Honestly, I find men and women that are 35+ and dating someone that's under 21 kinda creepy... I just feel that they are emotionally incapable of connecting to people of their age so they go for really young people... Or maybe it's a control thing... Like they are older with the job and they feel like they can control the other person in a relationship because they are so young, without a job and they don't bring money in the house...  Of course, older men are not the only ones to blame, because there are people with daddy and mommy issues and those who do not want to work so ****ing older men and women for a monthly allowance is the easiest way to make money. Idk as long as it's legal

A big fat yikes. No one is disputing that this is competely legal. However, many of those relationships have to do with maturity and power structures. Just because somebody turns the magical age of 18, doesn't mean they become fully mature adults over night. There is still a possibility to get taken advantage of by mature/older people. And as someone here already pointed out, Scott has a pattern of doing this. Y'all are happy to overlook every single red flag until something bad happens.

Not saying this is what’s going on, but a lot of times, when older men date teenagers (18/19) it’s because they secretly want to hook up with, you know- minors, or they potentially want that power dynamic because it leaves room for easy manipulation. They get people who are barely legal and extremely naive/inexperienced so that there’s no “complications” for them. Not saying this is 100% accurate all of the time (because I would date/hook up with men in the 30s and 40s when I was 18/19/20 and nothing bad happened to me), but yeah, if an older man has a habit of going after barely legal people, it’s a huge red flag.

I didn't say that, yeah it's weird. While morally questionable, it's  still legal. I mean an 18 year old can legally consume alcohol, go to strip clubs where the strippers are bound to be so much older them.
