The lack of major news outlets covering this is extremely fishy because you'd think a serious incident like this would be making the rounds everywhere and news outlets would be dying to get the scoop and interviews. But there are barely any results on Google so yeah idk I find it hard to take it seriously. The bold is probably why it wasn't widely reported. It turned out to be something else. However, I no longer fully trust mainstream media for reporting accuracy. Don't forget who helped kill stories about Weinstein and others for decades. Guest SetMeFree
I did not read through all the comments yet to see if anyone already mentioned this, but this risk is associated with any vaccine.
Abramovic 1,659
One of my Co-Workers had the same effect after the second vaccine but the symptoms vanished after 48 hours. We had to call the ambulance cause she couldn't feel her legs anymore and it was just 5 minutes before I got my second shot She is fine now but had to spend 2 Days at the intensive care unit. It's more infuriating when people jump the gone and report "news" that has no basis in science or fact, and turn people away from getting a lifesaving vaccine for good. As we've already seen in this thread — people decide not to get the vaccine based on this bogus "news story." There is nothing that connects the COVID vaccine to paralysis in this case. Nothing. Zero evidence. 2 hours ago, KanyeWest said: "Have FuNn Not BeInG AbLE tO gO ouTSide ANti VaxX!!!!!" There's nothing that proves any connection between the vaccine and what happened to this woman. Lion Heart 15,041
I do believe it may have been a side effect of the vaccine, but it will probably be temporary. Guilian Barre is not usually permanent, as in she will not be permanently wheel-chair bound, but she won't be 100% back to normal if the damage is extensive. I am pro-vaccine and I still encourage everyone to get it if you're not immuno compromised, but to dismiss the negative consequences of vaccines is not helpful. People have reactions to the flu vaccine all the time; it is only logical that someone is bound to get some reaction to the covid vaccine. ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀

Until the NYTimes report, many media outlets forced their journalists or even the publication itself to kill the stories they had on Weinstein. Epstein did the same thing. You clearly didn't fully learn about the history of #MeToo. If it weren't for social media, the only true *free* press, many of the latest scandals would've never been revealed. And let's not forget what the free press did to Britney, since that is center stage right now.

babs 5,093
I have a close family member who will not be able to get the vaccine because she had Guillean Barré in the past and it looks like the 2 don't match well. If this woman was en route to developing the condition then maybe the vaccine heightened it. The good news is that if it Guillean Barré then it's most likely reversible. OriginalMonster 80
Some vaccines do increase the risk of Guillain Barré, but it's usually by only about 1 additional case per million. Getting some natural infections actually increases the risk more, for example about 17 per million people hospitalized with the flu get Guillain Barré verus an overall average incidence of around 14 per million, meaning an increased risk of 3 per million (although the 14 million would also include those hospitalized, so incidence would be even lower in the general population, but I can't find a good figure). Basically, Guillain Barré is rare, but does happen in both those who do and do not get vaccines and at generally similar rates.

If you took the Moderna or Pfizer, it contains synthethic mrna, that intersects with actual DNA. IDK, I'm not taking it till maybe mid-late 2022 to see if there any long term effects. I’m happy to take the risk if it helps me protect my grandparents and the elders I work with. But, of course, do as you see fit for yourself.

Maybe read some actual scientific articles on how the vaccine is made and how it was developed so fast instead of reading and spreading "half assed" conspiracies and thinking you're the superior intellectual among a crowd of idiots. I won't even bother linking you to articles because they're everywhere if you bother looking. It's because of people like you that this whole mess won't end anytime soon.
