A nurse in Greece is partially paralyzed from her waist down and wheelchair bound after receiving 2nd vaccine. Woman allegedly did not have any underlying health needs. Read the article below if you’re interested and share your thoughts.

I mean, that's such a sh*tty thing if it's permanent but there's no 100% evidence the vaccine caused this right?

Let's just hope she gets better

Guys just keep in mind that this is such a rare instance. I’ve been vaccinated fully and I am doing okay, along with all of my coworkers and other friends who have been fortunate enough to receive it.
don’t give up hope guys ❤️

1. Please don't use Google AMP and

2. Don't be fooled by this sh*t. I assure you this will be used as a weapon by antivaxxers, the same as every article that appeared claiming x person was paralyzed/died/got covid after the vaccine. It's pure fear-mongering, which doesn't mean it isn't true, but correlation doesn't imply causation

Yeah, but it goes through Google AMP. That's the reason why the google.com/amp appears at the beginning

I hope she gets better very soon.

But let's not start weaponizing this to spread anti-vaxx conspiracy.

1. There is no clear cut evidence that the vaccine cause this. Just because it happened after it does not mean it was caused by it. This could be proven wrong, of course, but so far there is no tangible evidence to claim that the vaccine caused paralysis.

2. If the vaccine caused this, it doesn't mean that it will cause it in every person who takes it. As far as I am aware, this is one case out of everyone who has gotten the second shot so far.

Point is, get vaccinated.

Edit: do we know which vaccine it was? the article makes no mention of that at all which is kind of weird if you ask me.
