If you took the Moderna or Pfizer, it contains synthethic mrna, that intersects with actual DNA. IDK, I'm not taking it till maybe mid-late 2022 to see if there any long term effects. No need to worry, that's not how this vaccine works. The mRNA never touches or comes near DNA, it only reaches ribosomes to manufacture a protein. It's just a set of instructions for protein production, it doesn't alter anything.

President Biden 5,898
Not to be like offensive, but isn’t Greece known for a somewhat poorly ran government? Could this possibly be a product of the vaccine being poorly managed there? Like it could’ve been inefficiently refrigerated or something along those lines. President Biden 5,898
Just want to say on the anti-vax topic: Look, we need to be understanding. Yes some people are vaccine fearful, that should be expected. And some of it is the product of fearmongering/propoganda, but others genuinely have health concerns about vaccines. I personally know friends with Aspergers that try to limit their vaccine intake (not flat out reject them, but things like spacing them out between doctor’s appointments, avoiding new STD ones when they aren’t sexually active, etc). People have their reasons and we need to be understanding. With that being said, regarding COVID: If people would prefer to wait a bit longer, it should be perfectly okay. In particular if those people are not at risk (younger) and are following social distancing & mask wearing. Letting a few millennials remain skeptical while quarantining at home until 2022 isn’t a risk. A risk is anti vaxxers that are also anti maskers. Which is literally no on GGD. MOT 3,647
I hope that woman makes a full recovery. Every day, thousands of people throughout the world suffer serious adverse reactions, often even death, as a result of getting out of bed in the morning, ie something happens to them that wouldn't have happened if they'd stayed in bed. But we all keep getting out of bed because, on the whole, it's worth the risk. That's life. Life often results in serious injury or illness, and it always results in death. The game of life is hard to play...I'm gonna lose it anyway...The losing card I'll someday lay. Unless you have some complicating underlying condition, getting vaccinated is less risky than not getting vaccinated. And that's just purely at the individual level. In the bigger picture, the more people that get vaccinated the sooner we can get out of the mess we're in.

This neurological condition can lead to paralysis and sometimes death. So.... I'm inclined to believe that the vaccine actually had nothing to do with the sudden symptoms. So basically Teas. Yeah, millions of people have been vaccinated, if this has just happened once then you bet your ass I'm still getting my shots when they're available Whimsical bitch

That's not how either of those vaccines actually work... they do NOT change your DNA 2. But that literally IS how the COVID-19 virus, and tons of other viruses, works (in a lot of people that is - source) and you could permanently have fragments of the virus randomly shoved in your genome for the rest of your life. We do know the longer term effects of the virus at this point (as much as we can I guess) and those are WAY worse that what we're seeing from vaccine trials/real life experience. 44 minutes ago, President Biden said: If people would prefer to wait a bit longer, it should be perfectly okay. Yeah but we know millennials aren't staying how right now, at least in the US.. Every single weekend my snap and IG stories are DISGUSTING with the amount of parties I'm seeing. They will keep going out, getting the virus, and especially as a result of those chronic (re)infections, the virus will continue to mutate and could eventually make the vaccine useless. That is why we need enough people to take the vaccine so we can stamp it out once and for good. We really only have one shot at this before we have to deal with covid for the rest of time like the flu. And we currently don't have enough people worldwide who are willing to getting the vaccine. Maybe read some actual scientific articles on how the vaccine is made and how it was developed so fast instead of reading and spreading "half assed" conspiracies and thinking you're the superior intellectual among a crowd of idiots. I won't even bother linking you to articles because they're everywhere if you bother looking. It's because of people like you that this whole mess won't end anytime soon. What conspiracy? I'm not some crazy Qanon conspirator...im not spreading anything...it WAS a rushed vaccine that's not a conspiracy lol...and all it is is a immune booster not even a cure so getting the virus is still gonna happen you just won't have severe symptoms which is great so for all those who wanna get it...go for it...I simply won't and that has nothing to do with conspiracies, being ignorant, or a Trump supporter... You are generalizing “millenials” as a whole. I was referring to the select individuals on this site who are afraid of COVID but also skeptical of the vaccine. The need to take my clear point about member of this site and blow it up into some generalized rant about all millennials, is unnecessary. And that statement is also fairly misleaded. Teenagers are the ones causing such mass transmission. By this point in time, most millennials are parents raising families. At least in my immediate family, the millennials have actually take. this way more seriously than the Boomers/Silent Generation. I got drunk
Kadikaado 4,302
I hope she gets better, but let's remember that no vaccine is 100% risk free.
