Ticketmaster’s streaming dedicated ticketing platform which launched in 2020 has experienced an explosion in virtual ticket sales signifying a clear and continued demand for live from fans. Most recently the platform sold over 125K tickets to a virtual performance in the UK by Niall Horan.

Ticketmaster Livestream will build on this success by providing a truly global and cohesive offering to artists for their virtual events, maximising Ticketmaster’s expertise, marketing and reach on a worldwide scale.

“The live experience is the ultimate moment of connection between an artist and fan, and it’s our job to power these moments,” said David Marcus. “Now with this expansion, our offering is a global one-stop-shop run by a global team with local expertise. Our mission is to work with artists to make it as easy as possible for fans to experience the live music they love.”

There better be some good artists. I don't mind to pay if it is an all out experience :applause:

I just bought another live stream concert pass for one of my fave Japanese band, it costs ¥10,000 (about $95) for 2 days shows, can't wait to see it in March. Before it, I already saw 4 live stream concerts since the pandemic starts. (Billie, Kylie, Dua, BLACKPINK)  :sis:

Best not to leave it last minute to change an address lol...whether it goes ahead or not

Lol so why can’t the artists just distribute e-tickets themselves if they’re already setting up the stream, venue and organizing everything without Ticketmaster already?

its time for these capitalistic companies that allow people to scalp with bots for insane profits on tickets to just die already. Ticketmaster has always been a headache and always some bullshit charges that they sneak in there when you’re not paying attention. Ticketing companies are scum.

I struggle to see the appeal to this. I get it during lockdown, but even then I can get performances like that on YouTube for free.

I pay money to see people live and in the flesh, not basically watching a DVD concert

I wonder what ridiculous service charges this will include.

Probably a "bandwidth delivery fee"   :noparty:

Ticketmaster is the scum of the earth and I refuse to support this. Artists like Charlie Puth are using other platforms like Yoop.

I'd pay if it were a couple of dollars, maybe $5 at most. Otherwise someone is bound to record it and stream it. Everyone feel free to drag me for not supporting artists tho!

I changed my address back in March when my PayPal auto sent them to my old address and Ticket Master didn't update my address on their systems, so I requested a second address change. Even if the tour doesn't go ahead I'd still like to be able to have the tickets to keep like my JWT tickets.
