So Craig Ferguson, noted recovering addict who dealt with his own issues with the press, was able through see through the madness and identify that it was wrong to kick Britney while she was down.

I don't know what else you're trying to prove here. 2007 was nearly 15 years ago. We do not live in a cultural vacuum, time has passed and things have changed. Kids born in that year are now in high school. It might be healthier and more productive to focus on the current headlines about Britney's wellbeing instead of digging up old clips to earn posting points on a forum

This reminds of when Rosie O'Donnell used to call out American Idol for their audition process.

It truly was reprehensible.  They would include in every show people who were "a joke".  Not people who got their shot and then messed up, but rather carefully selected people who were bound to humiliate themselves.

As Rosie put it, it was "3 millionaires laughing at mentally ill people."  She was pissed and rightfully so.  

Wokeness isn't new, but thankfully people are waking up a bit more now and finally accepting that all people are just people.
