T.J. Osbourne of the country duo Brothers Osbourne has come out as gay recently. In an interview with TIME he talked about his life and what coming out as an established artist in mainstream country means. Read the article here https://time.com/5935439/tj-osborne/

He also posted about it on Instagram which garnered a lot of loving posts from industry peers such as Kacey Musgraves, Maren Morris, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Yola, fellow gay country artist Orville Peck and many many more.

Also among the congratulants were Reese Witherspoon, the CMTs (Country Music Television awards) and the CMAs (Country Music Association Awards)

Within the country genre...that's big...even tho I don't listen to country mmusic. Its just like more gay rappers coming out...this should be the norm and no longer a stigma of shame and embarrassment...

I like guys or girls...next...

GIRLLLLLL.  ITS ABOUT TIME.  He has had his dirty laundry and (I think nudes also) posted all over gay forums for years now.  It’s been an open secret from what I understand.  Good for him though!  I can only imagine how hard it would be in the country music industry.  But Nashville is an accepting city and not homophobic as a whole, so he should be fine
