Lol they mean that the world remembers Britney through some frame's like the Umbrella and head shaving + her team pushed the narrative of Britney being mentally unwell and needing help. They framed that image about her and The New York Times wanted to change that, because it's inaccurate and there is much more to Britney than the negative narrative we've been seeing for the past decade.
