I just ask cuz some grocery chains here had a temporary premium which made sense in early days of pandemic because ppl were panic buying and their workload increased But now ppl are shopping more normally again i dont see what the pandemic has to do with grocery store worker wage premiums anymore I do think they are underpayed and im not against the idea of minimum wage going up in many jurisdictions quite the contrary i think many places could use a bump... but thats in general, not because of pandemic specifically This temporary $4 bump right now at this moment seems really random

So...we are in charge and gonna make it right attitude seems to have gotten to the point of leaders trying to control private industry... The concept of improving workers revenue isn't flawed, just the method they're using ... 'Living' wages used to be about what they're being paid now, but the cost of living is increasing and has been since the Left got complete control... Gas prices spiked just after new year ... even tho demand has dropped,,,, same exuse every time they do it too,,,(we have additional expenses because of the switch to summer formula) like a cat in a sil, I observe life, moving and still.
