I don't think all of those were radio singles though? Just album trackswith a video, like John Wayne and 911.

They were singles but because they flopped harder than, well, Smile The Album they were downgraded to "buzz singles" :ladyhaha:

What if tomorrow I see you again? Should I say that I used to love you?

No not really. Just because monsters don't like Katy... doesn't mean we lie. None of those singles were sent to radio. So they're not singles. A single is a song that is sent to radio.

It’s kinda hard to believe that she didn’t send standalone singles to radio though...

I thought they were sent to radio, but they weren't. I checked All Access and they have no impact dates. The only ones sent to radio was NRO, Small Talk, and Daises. Smile was a single in europe but not the U.S

A single is a song used to promote an album and just because a single isn't sent to the radio doesn't mean it's not a single.

Is this something obsessed fans tell themselves to hide the fact their favs career is dead? :ladyhaha:

I'm not even a katy fan. A single is a song sent to radio. A promo single is used as an instant grant before albums are released. So no, The only singles from the album are NRO and Daises. Smile (song) was a single but in Europe.

Set Fire to The Rain and WUTB had no MV but they were still singles because they were sent to radio.

NRO could’ve been a top ten hit had they promoted it, and she couldve had a successful era but she didn’t capitalise on it, and then chose to release...small talk. so...she killed her own career, honestly

Sorry, you are right.

As a fan of Katy since One of the Boys I will stop arguing about the turns in her career.

Besides she can't be blamed to have toxic "not fans" in her "not fanbase" fighting against everyone who points out the poor performance of her singles saying "tHiy WiRi NiT SiNgLiS"

What if tomorrow I see you again? Should I say that I used to love you?

She's had one of the biggest turn-arounds from success to non-success I've ever seen. Which is surprising considering I don't think her songs fell in quality and she seemed to have a good fanbase going. So saying, her career trajectory is fairly common, the majority of artists will massively tail off after album #3 with very few exceptions. But she was so successful beforehand with all those back-to-back #1's that this downfall is quite fascinating. She's essentially the 2010's version of Paula Abdul, who also had a run of massive hits and then suddenly fell off for no reason. Difference is, Paula quit making music the second she stopped being successful whereas Katy's still going. I don't think many of us could've predicted in 2010 that Katy was only going to be massively popular for another few years. But it just shows the unpredictability of pop music devotion. Regardless of where she goes after this, she'll never be forgotten, though and her royalties will make her rich for life.
