Why are there so many so-called fans on this site OBSESSED with spinning negative narratives around anything Gaga does?

Some of you have been pressed for over a year when it comes to HAUS Labs, and here we are with concrete proof it's one of the most successful brands of the year and you're STILL trying to disprove and discredit.

Get a goddamn hobby :wtfga:

you don't have to like something just because it's "one of the most successful brands"

you aren't gonna win me over. i want music from a musician. go ahead, shoot me.

14 posts about her beauty brand in 5 months. Omg!!!! It's such an overkill 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 how dare she!!

When you compare it to the 3 ish Chromatica posts and add up the other brand sponsorship posts, yes, it's overkill.

What even is this narrative...

She was selling AliExpress-quality headphones for $100 six months into career.

If anything, her endorsements deals are so much better now. She's the face of Valentino, Tudor, and her makeup brand is a company built from scratch and co-owned by her.

To me there's a clear distinction between her doing brand deals as side gigs at the beginning of her career and her doing music as a side gig to brand deals now that she's established.

I honestly don't know how to put it, at this point I feel like you guys are actively trying to not see it. The amount of sponsorship deals she does nowadays is insanely high compared to before, and I could not care less if that came with non-commercial content (art, music, performances, whatever), but right now it just doesn't.

I'm thankful for Chromatica, but I'm disappointed that for some reason it wasn't done justice and that all the focus went onto brand deals right after its release.

she was also, when selling those headphones, regularly mentioning her music and actually promoting it. she isn't doing that. my (and i think many others) issue isn't the amount of makeup posts, it's the amount when compared to music. if you didn't know her and just went on to her instagram page, you'd think she was a makeup artist, not a musician.

we aren't asking for zero makeup content, just SOME music content.

Why are we even talking about Instagram?

Instagram is the main source of revenue for a makeup brand (duh!).

Why are you focused on whatever amount of Instagram posts she didn't even make herself, and ignoring dozens of interviews, her career-best photo shoots, 3 music videos, and the fact that she literally turned the VMAs into her own show?

No one is trying to win you over. To be honest, I COULDN'T care less what you think - I'm just pointing out how weird it is that you're so bothered by all of this, and that your energy would probably be better spent elsewhere :trollga:

I want the full eyeliner set so bad. :fatcat: Gel, Kohl, micro-tip and the regular bc you can never have enough black liner. But I can’t justify the price right now, maybe later this year lol if filing my taxes isn’t a disaster.

Also thanks for stating that, i’m not hating at all when I say i don’t see a lot of people excited about this brand. I watch hours of beauty youtubers including channels that get like 60 views per video and a lot of people have similar feedback about lack of an exciting colour story and middling quality of some of the products.

That said if I had the money I would buy every single thing. But in terms of products I need, the price is not worth it for stuff like a 2 pan blush/highlighter palette.

The price range for sure isn't worth those 2 or 4 shade palettes, I got the 4-Way Disco, mainly for the metallic gold (which was very stunning) but the other three shades are pitiful in quality, so little pigment and they sheer out.

I think to get more interest back they need to go bolder with everything, keep all the gorgeous glitter etc. But make the colour stories and products more unique.

So I definitely wouldnt buy everything if I were you haha  I've been disappointed by at least two deliveries full of stuff I've had from there 😂

But the products that are good are excellent

This is literally not true.

The amount of products she promoted in the “Telephone“ video alone (including a dating site and a freaking MAYONNAISE BRAND) is probably more than she did in the last 5 years.

okay? we won't talk about instagram. she STILL isn't posting anything music related. no matter where you look, she isn't posting about her music. can i remind you that all those three things you mentioned lasted a day at most, then she NEVER posted about it again. if she had social media in 2011/2010, she would've wanted to post to explain her art and share cool things with her fans. compare her to other musicians. look at taylor swift's social media pages (or youtube, or whichever platform you want to look at), she posts mostly about her music, since she's a musician. the same goes for lana. lana posts little bits of poetry she's reading or records she buys. and even someone like ari posts selfies and random photos with cute captions. gaga doesn't even do that. gaga pretty much ONLY does brand deals.

"i could care less"

and yet everytime someone is remotely critical y'all bring out the

OBSESSED HATERS SEETHEEEEEEE HAUS LABS IS SO SUCCESSFUL AND YOUR OPINION DOESN'T MATTER

and post about how selfish we are for nineteen pages?

yes. but if she did that in 2020, she wouldn't even bother putting it in a video. she'd just post a jar of mayo and leave.

That's because Haus Labs is selling physical products and if they don't sell the amount they need to, they will lose millions.

She doesn't need to remind fans to listen to Chromatica, we do it anyway:

This only supports our point. The focus is on the numbers, and Chromatica gets no attention unless it's to sell it.

Now you see, if you just commented this all along you would have saved yourself this entire argument. These are valid points even if I disagree with this.

Also I think this discussion is pretty much done but again it’s about perspective; we are here on a site dedicated to Gaga. This fanbase is getting more annoying every era complaining about her changing and being demanding and just basically being ungrateful for Gaga’s work. We really don’t need all that negative energy. And you’re right, we aren’t entitled to a fully positive thread, but it sure would be nice?

Fair, but once again you're trying to spin this into me irrationally hating the brand or being hateful.

You gotta realize there would be no argument to begin with if y'all chilled out and didn't come for us for any slightly negative opinion.

As far as I know, Chromatica got a lot of good attention. The 911 MV was heavily praised on here. The Stupid Love one, not so much. It's almost as if the reactions reflected the quality...

You guys don't have a problem trashing Jewels N Drugs. So why are you so against anything negative about Haus Labs? Sometimes, she does stuff and it's mediocre. That happens. Stop being so ****ing defensive about it, that's all.
