RQ: Babylon Haus Labs Vocal Sample

Dayman

Featured Posts

If anyone has a link to the actual vocal sample used in the Haus Labs version of Babylon I'd appreciate it. Whether its a link the source of the sample or just the file itself. Thank you.

EDIT: Using the actual sample I reworked a version that has no percussion in it. So if anyone stumbles on this thread and needs the sample of just the vocal feel free to rip it from my soundcloud.

it comes from this

@Dayman

It is used there, But it does not come from there. It also appears in many commercial use audio background msuic. So that means It's a sample available to purchase - I just don't know where from. I found some accounts that have found it and used it but they have not responded to where it is from yet.

Commenting because I want to know too

now that we have the instrumental I want to add the sample to the first 45 seconds of the song (the part that sounds most like the HL ad)

“cleanest” one I have is the Los song lol

@Mr Peeps Did a great Haus Labs edit. I know he used the sample. But I can't tell if it's a filter or the original sample. If it is a filter he has done the cleanest job using it from what I have heard anyone do yet.

I used the original sample, but it's not just vocals, the sample also has a kick and a snare, like the intro of Ozio

Where did you find it? Any link or just the name of where it was? I know a version without the kick and snare exists as I have seen it used a few times and it was very clearly not a filter. But honestly any help at this point is greatly appreciated. :kiss:

Yeah, but that isn't a good way to source an isolated sample of the vocals unfortunately. :messga:

This is a much more interesting use though here - as this one does not contain the snare in the sample as the Burger King ad, Ozio and Babylon Haus Labs include. So while those 3 seem to have used the same source sample - this German commercial uses another for JUST the vocal loop.

I loved this so much! Such cool production and all the elements made it a lot more interesting than the Haus Labs version. I'd like to hear her sing on this
