I had huge expectations about this album. When she said she was working with Goldfrapp and Ladytron I had a sound in my head about what it'd be like. Sadly I was disappointed but still managed to enjoy some of the songs on this album. It will never be nearly as good as Stripped or Back To Basics but it deserves some attention, especially the ballads and Birds of Prey.

Blame RCA records for interfering. Most of the 'original' album with Goldfrapp, Ladytron etc was cut and replaced with songs the label felt were more commercial, like "Not Myself Tonight". Pretty much none of these songs ever leaked

She released Liberation which was a step back toward Stripped but not particularly commercial (or engaging IMO)
