Georgia GOP lawmaker introduces bill requiring 2 copies of ID 2 vote absent

I don't have an issue with having an ID to vote as a concept, but in America it is so expensive to get an ID it's ridiculous. The government already tracks all of us and we all have a unique SSN; I don't understand why it has to be such a gd hassle to get an ID, especially since it's required for so many things outside of voting.

It was $40 to get my license reprinted

It was gonna cost me $130+ to get my license transferred when I moved states, so since I don't drive rn I'm just not gonna change it over until my old license expires  luckily I still have a valid passport just in case
