This man was at the door of his own home and from what we know, had not committed any crime. He should not be asked to get down on the ground. That's so disrespectful. Contreras was probably supposed to ask Warren some wellness check questions, instead of shouting out orders like the guy was a criminal. However, Warren really should have stopped walking toward the cop. He was "out of his mind", not acting logically, imo. Maybe Contreras should have used other words or went back to his car to wait for backup. It's so easy to backseat drive this type of situation knowing how it ends. Maybe Warren was so far out of it that different words would have had the same result. Warren should have taken the hint from the day before and stayed in the hospital, since he needed treatment. I know, I literally was so emotional about it because it just such an incredibly callous point of view. He didn’t deserve that and neither did his family. My heart is so broken. Are you out of your mind? Since when an unarmed person deserves to be shot? These cops shouldnt act upon these instincts of power and fear. They use their guns as if it was the answer to every situation. I am so pissed off how some people still try to justify the actions. I dont care who these police men are, they have a freaking responsibility and its not murdering people, even in situations where its threatening.
