People have been throwing fireworks at the police and setting trash cans on fire right in front of my house for hours :ohno:

Oh no! I hope you and you’re family are staying safe!  This is soo crazy :bradley:

Thank you

All windows of the shops underneath our apartment have been broken but it's calmed down now (probably because there's nothing else to break left :emma:)

I think a lot of you forget that humans are social creatures, it is literally in our nature and DNA. Even if restrictions are necessary, you have to understand that riots will happen sooner or later. It has almost been a year and it will likely stay that way for another year and a half.

Humans can still be social from early morning until 9 p.m. A nighttime curfew doesn’t stop people from getting together, it just discourages late night parties which results in large gatherings. People can still be social in small groups at parks, outside areas, breakfast, lunch and dinner, etc.

We are only allowed 1 visitor a day and everything is closed so its a little difficult now

Remember when Governments worldwide told us if we stayed home 3 months it would be over? :ladyhaha:  Not to justify the riots but maybe if they didn’t lie to the people this wouldn’t have happened in these proportions

Eh it doesn't matter. Do you know what Pandemic Fatigue is? Read about it. Very informative.

I don't know what to say about this. It's embarasing but overall just really sad.

Same. I've been trying to put it into words but I just can't.

Other than all of the senseless destruction, I'm really just worried about the mental health of some people I know. Things were already becoming increasingly hard without the looming threat of violence.

Of course.

Still, people can come closer to avoiding fatigue by making smart, safe decisions. Doing so will lead to reopening much faster than ignoring the restrictions.
