From my understanding i dont think it kills the virus itself off faster but controls complications of it very well so ur chances of gettinf seriously ill from covid is reduced Someone correct me if im wrong tho. MadreMonster 697 Posted January 24 Good news keeps coming! This could really speed up going back to normal - although the old normal seems so weird now Quote Share
 Facebook Twitter
Gypsy18 28 Posted January 24 Colchicine is the 2nd line treatment for gout. Very interesting article and if you look at the study itself it does look promising. Does not cure Covid but seems like a good option to prevent/reduce complications from the virus! 1 Quote Share
 Facebook Twitter
Chic 16,550 Posted January 24 What interests me most about this, is the idea that a medication that can fight the virus presents an isolated set of variables that can help narrow down exactly what helps against the virus. If this medication has a certain component that separates it from medications that don’t work against COVID, it can be analyzed in more detail and give greater hints as to the best possible cocktail to combat the virus.
