It is forcing people. Tell every single human being to stop eating meat and start a vegan diet is forcing people. I am heavily in favour of renewable energy but forcing people to change their diets is just wrong. Trying to make out that Veganism is the only correct way is wrong, and nothing which I've said in this thread has been a lie. Dogs are animals which have been domesticated, and they are relatives of wolves who hunt meat for their food. Therefore, most dogs will be ominvore to carnivore. Just because they can eat some plant based stuff doesn't mean you can completely remove meat from their diet. Just like humans in that respect, and many vegans have quit being vegan and gone back to eating meat. However, the difference between a dog and a human is that we get to chose what we do with our diet. Dogs don't have that option, and if you want to go vegan then bravo and you do you. But to force an animal onto a vegan diet, an animal that can't chose wether it wants to be vegan or not? That's just cruel. Y'all talk about respecting animals because they have thoughts and feelings, yet do this. Y'all say you care about animals yet force a dog to eat something it probably doesn't want to. Its very hypocritical if you ask me... But that's something I see common with most vegans. I mean, just look at this thread. Many people trying to push veganism onto people, even when they've said "no its okay, I've tried it and didn't like it". A diet is a choice, not something to be forced upon. If y'all would just respect others opinion instead of calling meat eaters "murders" or "rapists" or whatever else. Veganism isn't the only correct path that everyone must take, and to have the mentality that it is why so many people get annoyed with vegans so easily. Its a diet. It doesn't make you better than someone who isn't vegan. And that is all I'll say on that. I've said plenty in this thread and I don’t want quoted or mentioned anymore. I'm suprised that this thread is still going and how many actually support Katy Perry for forcing a poor animal to do what she wants. People do change, and that's fine, but people shouldn't push their changes on anyone else. Maybe it'll happen at a different time for some people, if at all. Either way is ok. And it's implied in your posts otherwise what other reason is there for the judgemental comments? I don't see the connection between being a drug addict and eating meat though.
