It's called honesty. You are not going to achieve much being a fry cook at McDonald's. Even if you are making 15.00 an hour which is still horrible pay there is little room for advancement in these types of positions. and work your way up or get a degree in Business and become a manager. Sorry, it's called reality. I have worked these type of jobs, worked my butt off and never got treated with respect and I made around 16.00 an hour. I went to school with no money in my pocket, studied hard, graduated and got a better job with better pay.

There you go again. It's not honesty, it's arrogance. Not everyone has those same opportunities. Some didn't have sustainable childhoods, because their parents were working their ass off just to stay afloat. Some of them were still raising their siblings when they weren't old enough to drive. Some have responsibilities beyond paying the bills, like raising their kids or taking care of their parents. Not everyone can just up and go to college, especially when that could mean relocating, or at best trying online regiments when they have the world already on their shoulders.

Stop being a **** to people that didn't have the opportunities you did.

 Your total lack of empathy is disgusting! Meritocracy is a tale rich people tell to keep poor people from putting their heads on guillotine. Working harder makes your boss richer, going to college is great for the college. That's not how the real world works. In the real world there are much more people graduated from college than available spots for hiring, the few ones are filled with nepotism, indications. People making a fortune from the zero is a rare as winning the lotery.

  I hope you grow empathy and realize other people are humans just as important as yourself.
