That sounds kind of weird. The logical thing to do would be to allocate an amount of money to renovations (which they already do) but make all of the acquisitions property of the government, not the president. Also hot take but Trump's office is nicer than Obama's but would be better with the red curtains instead of yellow Former First Lady of the United States.
