Generation 4 because it’s the first one I played when I was 12.

Gen 1: Good overall, but it survives on nostalgia.

Gen 2: Great game.

Gen 3: Some of the best Pokémon music ever.

Gen 4: This Gen introduced Lucario, Spiritomb, Garchomp, Darkrai, Arceus.

Gen 5: Great new Pokémon, but forgettable story.

Gen 6: Everything is forgettable, especially the Elite 4.

Gen 7: Love it, my 2nd fave Gen.

Gen 8: Good game but kinda forgettable, it’s the only one I never felt the need to re-visit, probably because Hop talks too much.
