UK Prime Minister blames China's traditional medicine for Covid pandemic

U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson set himself on a collision course with the Chinese government with attack on traditional medicine, which he said was to blame for the coronavirus pandemic.

The practice of using scales from the endangered pangolin to aid virility is “demented,” Johnson said at a meeting of world leaders focused on protecting nature on Monday.

“The coronavirus pandemic was the product of an imbalance in man’s relationship with the natural world. It originates from bats or pangolins, from the demented belief that if you grind up the scales of a pangolin you will somehow become more potent or whatever it is people believe.”

China pushes back, says origin tracing is ‘scientific matter’.

Meanwhile Wuhan China out here having mass gatherings and parties covid-free because they understand public health better than the UK does. 

Also it's just dumb luck that the chicken, cow, etc mass farms we use for meat haven't produced the next pandemic. Stop being racist as hell.

Their lacking hygiene and pathetic pseudoscientific traditional medical methods is what caused all these deaths. Just because they managed to contain it, doesn't mean they are immune from blame for this entire global pandemic. China have to be held accountable unfortunately, Boris is not wrong and he wasn't be offensive or calling it the "Wuhan Virus" like a certain tyrant of late. Pangolins and bats are massive virus reservoirs, more so than chickens and cows. We have way higher food standards and agricultural procedures that aim to reduce microbial transfer to humans. Very different. Do not compare UK to China in this regard. They couldn't be more different, in their morals, science advancements and hygiene standards.

Some organic medicine is legit (because it follows same chemical reactions as scientific medicine, tho probably unknown to the users), but on whole it’s a joke.

If you think one man, one group of individuals (government) can prevent deaths in a pandemic you demand way too much. Nobody has figured out a way to fight this virus, the truth is that whatever decision you make, it's never the right one. Open schools, people complain about lack of social distancing, close schools, people complain they can't go to work and leave their kids home or feel they are isolated from the world with mental health issues rising. Open restaurants, people complain about the coronavirus cases, close restaurants, people complain that they are losing their jobs. Lockdown everything, people complain they can't find a job, open up, people complain about death tolls. Close your borders, people complain they can't visit their loved ones or do business, open your borders, people blame you for this new variant emerging. There is no real good answer ever. Every government right now is bad at their job, that's just a fact and I wonder what you wouldve done as Prime Minister to prevent deaths and turn it into a 0% death toll. Boris Johnson is a moron, there's no doubt about it, but let's not think that it's a simple job right now to deal with this virus
