I don't mind it tbh, I prefer it when vocalists really belt from the bottom of their lungs but if this is what it takes to make female pop music with actual melodies and singing popular again so be it :shrug:

This is like the auditory equivalent of wet socks/sleeves to me... specifically those Halsey, Regina Spektor, and Jessie Reyes examples. It's especially bothersome because I've heard Halsey and Regina songs that I really enjoy when they're not... making those sounds.

I don't think all those singers are examples of singing in cursive. Halsey is the epitome of this, that iconic Vine is making fun of it, and Liz Gillies does a great job explaining it...
