I missed the 'fan service' elements of Chromatica - the kind that Kylie and Katy did deliver, irrespective of their sales or stats. Chromatica era was nothing but fan service to the people who stanned early Gaga.

Okay, I never said they didn’t? but I thought we were talking about Chromatica and Lady Gaga albums/music? Anyway, A Star Is Born was massive. But Bradley Cooper is a massive movie star too. Wouldn’t it be nice for her to achieve that kind of success with an album on her own?
Guest Messy vers
18 hours ago, Chromatican said: Unfortunately the Chromatica era, along with many of the accompanying performances and events were largely cancelled or changed. A coachella set, AMA performance, Grammys performance, along with the original release date of Chromatica were all delayed or cancelled. With the tour now being in question of being cancelled, and Gaga having other duties rapidly approaching, I believe Gaga should put a halt on her musical career until at least 2022. Covid is not going to vanish in the next eleven months, and promoting or starting an era amidst this pandemic is inadvisable. At this point, it'd be in Gaga's best interest to wait until at least spring 2022 to begin a new era, when a plan can be made and concrete plans can be executed. She is not just a singer anymore, Gaga is diversifying and I believe the 2020's will be defined by her movies, and her brand expansion just as much, if not more than her musical releases. Time for fans to read the writing that's been on the wall since 2015...Gaga is not just another popstar and isn't playing by the same rule-book. I think the scars in your mind are on replay

She will, but she is not just a singer anymore and is also a massive movie star now too, and was eyed by Bob Iger and Ridley Scott in the last couple years, as well as the DCEU. She should focus on movies too, because the music industry is not what it used to be. I think an LG7 launch after Covid is behind us and Biden is president will be better. JoeMo 3,792
I reckon the chromatica ball will get cancelled and she will potentially have more time to record. I think the only thing stopping her would be her mental state. I’m really worried about her at the moment, I sense she could be really unhappy.. www.youtube.com/jmremixes
River 107,945
like imagine if you're a real estate agent and you're not selling houses until 2022 It's her job, she can't stop release and work in music, it's a death wish, she may lose her house and a lot of fortune. Between eras she's always working on projects just to keep the sales go on.. She has chickens to feed come on.. His fart felt like a kiss

Guest
I'm in the minority here. I do not care if she gives us promo or not. If she went the rapper route and released music as she masters it, that would be an ideal world for me. I just care about the music and some exciting music videos every now and then. I'd rather live in a world where she drops a few singles throughout the year or an EP and an album being dropped every 3-5ish years with her only touring during the album cycle. But that's my own ideal world for her career. It's clear she's focusing on other avenues. She continues to build her Haus Labs brand and she is exploring her acting career. Unfortunately, I am not interested in either of those.
LastNight 5,744
Honestly I would love Gaga to become one of those artists that just freely releases whenever she wants. I know she and her team love a traditional roll out and creating hype, and I love all of that too as a fan, but there’s something really magical when artists move away from the typical release-every-three-years schedule. Maybe I’m still dazed from folklore/evermore, and I don’t even mean to compare the two of them because they’re very different artists, but I genuinely feel that Gaga would really suit being a bit free-er with how she releases. She’s so vastly talented as a musician and it would be amazing to experience more of that without the pressure of every release needing to be a blockbuster.
