lol

I have a friend living in Japan and she tells everyday how Japan is not giving a **** about Corona and still planning the Olympics. She keeps saying how people are not being tested and everything is the same, like there's no corona in Japan.

I am authistic, so don't be offended if I make a mess sometimes.

I thought Japan was closed to international travelers.

Anyway, people shouldn't be traveling for leisure during this time, especially internationally and by plane.

Brazil has a lot of Japanese residents, probably relatives travelling for funerals.

Let's just hope the vaccine works on the new strains. Or at least that they're less lethal. If its mortality drops to levels comparable to the flu then maybe we can all settle down a bit. But that won't be clear any time soon.

I believe there was a study released recently stating that the Pfizer vaccine was working against the variants found in the UK and Africa recently.

Honestly at this point covid probably won’t go away until most of the population is infected with it and there is herd immunity. I read somewhere that 70% of the population is likely to get covid by 2022
