The Province of Ontario is opening Isolation Centres in the city of Brampton to safely store away covid patients who are not among the most critical to deal with medical facilities and ICUs that simply cannot handle more people

Brampton a Toronto suburb of 630,0000 has consistently remained a hot spot in Canada, at times having the highest number or cases in a single city managing to at times surpass Toronto itself despite having only 1/5 the population

The infection rate per 100,000 population has remained stubbornly high in Peel region with Brampton consistently being by far the worst and the medical system cannot handle the strain resulting in the Premier himself on many occasions to call out the city and single it out.

A few other cities in the area including Toronto and other suburbs will also get a few

I live just outside the GTA. It is not too bad where I am right now, because most people are old & wealthy so they have no problem staying home. Of course there are still issues with people partying and traveling.
