EU citizens will be banned from using ID cards to enter UK from October

This is such bs and I've no idea why they're going with this. Needing a passport to cross borders is the default option.

With the UK outside the EU, it's natural that freedoms of movement are reversed on all fronts. If you need to travel  between Europe and the UK regularly, you expected that change years ago.
