Debithius 6,056 Posted January 6, 2021 Share Posted January 6, 2021 The rioters breached the Capitol after a rally led by President Trump earlier in the day Wednesday, where he disputed the outcome of the election and called for his supporters to march to the Capitol to protest Congress's certification of the Presidential election results. Later Wednesday, he called for an end to the violence while calling the rioters "special" people. The President’s term ends in 14 days. The President was impeached but not removed about one year ago. Removing Donald Trump from office by Republican Senators voting could be their first attempt at saving a small piece of the shattered party even though it’s likely unrecoverable with Trumpism. I don’t know how this next administration is going to decide in what order to handle all of this. The American people obviously need relief after how poorly the pandemic has been handled and were worried about health care in general, but everything Trump and his alliance has destroyed needs to be addressed.
