The Weeknd changes IG avatar to fan art : stolen from the original artist

On Dec. 31, Twitter user albert12798 posted a drawing of the Weeknd, with the caption "i drew the weeknd." It went viral. The Weeknd changed his Instagram profile photo to that drawing. But many people pointed out that albert12798 didn't even bother to remove the real artist's signature: @Tw1tterPicasso.

On Sunday, original artist Tw1tterPicasso posted the Weeknd art to Instagram, with the caption, "Appreciate the support but randoms gotta stop stealin my **** and repostin it."  https://www.instagram.com/p/CJmTs9RH9kp/

This is really rude. We don't know if this person is being serious of deliberately making poor drawings. It's best to air on the side of caution in these situations, and assume the artists were trying their best.
