(Axios) What to watch: Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) has pledged to delay the Senate's plans to override Trump's veto of a crucial defense-spending package unless McConnell holds a full recorded vote on the direct payments measure

I would rather see 2k checks. But if McConnell won’t bring the new bill up for vote, the only other way to pass any stimulus is a veto override

A filibuster will keep senators in Washington, preventing the two Georgia republican senate candidates from campaigning until after the new year. This is precious time that they may not be willing to squander.
