Lmao at this.  But Gallup is trustworthy, I thought?

Just really blows that, even though he's out of office in less than a month, what he did in 4 years will linger on for decades to come (e.g., Supreme Court justices; rallying up his base of deplorables; etc).  Glad he didn't get us into another war is about all I can say.

Not sure where I want to move in my life but I don't know that the US is the best place for me.  Love the various landscapes and cities here but I don't foresee living and needs getting better anytime soon since we have to first recover from pandemic and 4 years of 45 -- then trying to move progressive (e.g., healthcare, decriminalizing all drugs, immigration reform, lgbtq rights/ban conversion therapy federally, defunding police, etc.). feels impossible.(fingers crossed my degrees are portable to other countries :laughga:).

Remember that Trump barely lost the election (IIRC 60,000 flipped votes across the states he lost would changed it). Nearly half the country thinks he did a great job. He received more votes this year than he did in 2016

Very good point(s)!  It does terrify me to know that his popular vote increased in this election cycle (and what that says about the nearly half of the country that you mentioned). Eek!

He only “won” because the sane half of our country split the vote among Obama, Biden and Fauci.  the nutty/brainwashed half are fully in line behind their master.

Well, more people voted, so yeah.  He still received 8 million-ish less than Biden.  STILL too close for such a mad man, though.
