You're kidding right, these artists make bank. The ones who do not make money are the other people. Producers, engineers, lyricists, etc.

That's what I said though. She may be making money, but she is talking about how streaming does not help artists as much as people think, which is what people say is a problem with streaming. I agree with you though that the other people behind the songs also do not make nearly enough either.

That's why I value artists that can sell. Stop saying things like "It's 2020, no one buys songs anymore". That's not true. Gaga can still top Itunes and sell well, and I wish pure sales would weight more for Billboard than streams. It's very easy to stream a song, but buying a song (it doesn't matter if it's for $0.99 or $2.99) is a noble action.

Damn, that's exactly what I thought when I saw the topic about this record earlier today. I wondered how much money she must have made from this song this year. Unfortunately, from what she said, not much.
