I grew up playing all of them. I have the fondest memories of playing them with my sister. She would get upset because I would win each level and she would lose and this bish would cry to my grandma. Then my grandma would yell at me and tell me to be nice to my sister so I would lose on purpose so she would be happy. 

But OT - DKC3 is my favorite. They all have absolutely beautiful music (Aquatic Ambience from DKC ans Stickerbush Symphony from DKC2 are my favorites), and there are little subtle things that make unique in their own way. DKC3 though... I would ride in my boat around the world map listening to the music for literally hours.

This music from the underwater levels is soooo nostalgic. Brings me back to memories of trying to beat this game with my older siblings, drinking Coke and eating pizza. Such good times

I still prefer the music from DK2 overall but I definitely prefer the levels from the first one overall although DK2 definitely has a few really iconic levels for me as well such as the one the water heats up and you gotta cool it with the seal or the one where your in a cave and you gotta keep blasting upwards with the cannons

I forget exactly how that one is on DK2 but on donkey Kong 1 there's one with a track I love!
