Gorehound 4,665
nah she's done dark vides to death on TFM, BTW and now Chromatica to. ARTPOP may have not been everyone's taste but the lighter vibes were a pleasant change. I'd love her to do something brighter, fresher and cleaner. Something more attractive. That would be really refreshing. Make the songs sound beautiful and psychedelic with very well written chord progressions and harmonious vocals. Big soaring beautiful exotic pop songs with huge melodic choruses and slick future-disco beats. Joyful tropical songs about love, healing and empowerment etc. Then maybe stick in three or four more experimental songs like future-dub and bubblegum-bass. And definitely include Gaga's classic tongue n cheek humour, since there was a huge absence of it on Chromatica. Also maybe get some live instruments involved to. Some sick electric guitar solos, harps, woodwinds and more unusual instruments. I also wish she'd commission a professional painter to make her album cover just like Rihanna and FKA Twigs did with Anti and Magdalene. It would make the music seem so much more sophisticated and high-end. My choice is Irish painter Connor Harrington I'm fine, Ta

Only problem with Chromatica is the question of artistic evolution. If you wanna digest Dance-Gaga it is a bright and successful album. If you ask for more, or if you think Gaga could do much better, then.... I do feel like Chromatica happened because she wanted to increase her streaming numbers with a pure pop album that is easy to digest. Maybe she is slightly annoyed that her best work, Born This Way, is not recognized by critics and absent from decade-end lists while albums like Anti is praised to heavens. Well, there is no need to act offensively. I am reading a lot of positive comments about her future acting projects but to me she is that glam avant-garde pop artist waiting to explore her true potential. Shallow is an eternal hit now but still when is her ultimate artful declaration is going to expressed is the question in my head. And such album would be a futuristic one, sleek, cold, emotional, moving... Both projects, A Star is Born and Chromatica (and of course Joanne), are looking backwards. And I do not see her surrounded by inspiring musicians. Bloodpop just helped Rina to release a bad song, first in her short but effective career. I would rather see Gaga working with someone who knows what Art-Pop is and infusing Roxy Music/Bowie/Kate Bush/Bjork kind of dark aristocracy into Gaga's palette with fresh tones. Don't kill me but 1000 Doves and Plastic Doll are sort of embarrassing for Gaga's artistic vision. They feel like b-sides, not album tracks. I want to see her not worrying about a thing but her musical experiences. I am sure that moment will arrive and she will release another bold piece of work like Born This Way -but this time with more innovation and communication. I want Aristo-Ga to shut down all the noise of stan twitter gay music criticism or chatstans and do her **** with freedom and bravery. She is now the only pop star without a universally bulletproof album (Beyonce, Lemonade / Lorde, Melodrama / Rihanna, Anti / Taylor, those two albums etc.) She needs to act quickly. Drop all the distracting side projects and go to studio with only one producer. And give birth to many wonders. I love love LOVE this! I totally agree xxx She needs to make her Anti / Lemonade. And search for more unique underground musicians to work with, and allow them to healthily challenge her more questionable artistic choices sometimes. I also think she should commission a professional artist to hand-paint the album art, just like Rihanna and FKA Twigs did with their albums (Anti and Magdalene). I think that trend makes the album project so much more sophisticated and high-end. e.g. Connor Harrington? So nice to see someone with actual good creative ideas on here! x I'm fine, Ta

I’m not so sure cribbing from FKA Twigs and Rih on albums that will be at least 3 or 6 years old by the time LG7 comes is a smart idea. I prefer Chromatica and ARTPOP covers to painted covers which just seem try-hard to me.
Bling 31,300
We NEED a Nine Inch Nails, Heavy Metal Lover, Gimme What I Want by Miley, mature album from Gaga. None of the production on Chromatica is dark enough for this type of sound. Closer by NIN meets Heavy Metal Lover/Sexxx Dreams but with more mature lyrics. RickMonster98 7,462
A darker pop album, with gothic vibes and 80s influences. And Frankensteined as the lead single
flyaway 15,350
I'm thinking something darker, very rockish and very industrial. Like the style of Meghan Trainor or Jojo Siwa, mixed with the edgy side of Taylor Swift.
