Chromatican 4,046 Posted December 22, 2020 Share Posted December 22, 2020 As 2020 reaches an end, and Gucci production ramps up, what kind of goals, aesthetics and sonic landscapes should Gaga be pursuing with her next main musical project? For me, after the fan-centered Chromatica I would like Gaga to go in a more mature direction, especially as she will possibly be a going into her next album cycle as a Best Actress winner. Gaga tends to excel with darker aesthetics, and even Chromatica had surprisingly dark moments like 911 and Replay which were some of the highlights. I think avant-garde fashion should be employed, especially following the Gucci (2021) awards campaign. LG7 should in my opinion aim for acclaim above all else, with dark, moody production that goes where other pop girls wouldn't dare. I would love a start to an era in 2022 after the Gucci era wraps up. A lead single dropping with a music video directed by Ridley Scott. Can you imagine? Andrea B 16,462 Posted December 22, 2020 Share Posted December 22, 2020 I would love pop/rock album like Plastic Hearts but she should release maybe something like I Want Your Love, pop and disco music with a lot of high fashion and dark and colorful videos and visuals. I know a lot of artists have released pop/disco albums but we all know Gaga could to do something different with that genre, her voice, melodies and themes are out of this world. I absolutely adored these genres by gaga, but I don't think we'll be seeing them again. I think she wants to move on and try different things. I'd be so here for a disco release (like I want your love), a pop-rock album (like plastic hearts-ish), even an R&B/Jazz sound (like Victoria Monet's "Jaguar") could be cool from gaga.
