Fernando Garibay produced my favorite Gaga songs

Too bad that he's a problematic person to work with. There's more Gaga + Garibay songs, one was supposed to be a Kylie collab, and everything got discarded because of him and his problems with other producers involved at the process.

And DJWS saying he tried to take credit for song he produced but in reality Gaga was the one to give home credit, DJWS later came out and said there was no bad feelings between them anyway

Did some research on the Madonna issue, he basically said in some forum that he was nonplussed by it, especially since he received money every time she performed it on tour, so he had no reason to complain. He alone couldn't authorize or prevent the use of the song by someone else, Gaga's team had to be involved for Madonna to legally perform it. What you're saying is basically a deformed version of what apparently happened. You are also quick to forget he produced PARTYNAUSEOUS long after this alleged feud happened, so there's obviously no bad blood between them.

As for writing and producing credits, we all know how fishy those can be. Very often, these aren't a reflection of who actually contributed to the track but more of a contractual thing where collaborators get certain percentages of royalties depending on what they negotiated in the first place. Being the executive producer of the record, it's only logical that he or Gaga herself, being the artist, would get a bigger percentage than other collaborators. There's nothing shady in that, it's just how it works - like DJWS apparently said, he doesn't hold hard feelings, and his contribution didn't go unrewarded as he got to executive produce the next record himself.

Always so funny how fans always assume Gaga is holding grudges against her past producers just because she isn't working with them anymore... You don't stay relevant by staying in your comfort zone and making the same old **** people have been hearing for years, just saying.

I am not going against him sis  I was actually defending him that’s why I told you that DJWS said there was no beef between them because at the time monsters were dragging Fernando through the pits of hell, but then again DJWS was the one stirring the pot at the time as well

My top Garibay song has to be Americano. The way I got chills down my spine and everywhere else the first time I heard it was something I never experienced before with any other song... or after, for that matter

Frankly, even his productions for other artists are heavenly (like those Kylie EPs he did a few years ago, or the Vox Lux movie soundtrack where he reused some unreleased Gaga material), which can't be said for everyone who contributed to Gaga records...
