Sahar Tabar became famous for sharing photos of her gaunt, heavily altered face

She was recently freed from a 10-year prison sentence. 
Sahar was arrested last year on charges including 'corruption' and 'blasphemy' (she was really arrested just for her social media activities) and was freed from prison amid public outrage.

Iranian TV aired footage of her real face, confirming 'Jolie' images as an illusion 

The state-run media outlet has not yet revealed what she said in the TV interview, but quoted her as saying before her release that 'what you saw on Instagram was the computer effects I used to create the image'.

She was supposed to but was released from prison.

No. 10-year sentence, she got released early after public outcry.
