If Gaga wrote an autobiography, do you think she’d tell the whole truth?

I don't see her doing  that. Not all artists do that I guess Bowie didn't do that... 

edit : But.... If she d-was to do that, I wish there was a lot of different things, like poetry, pictures, and just a pinch of personal details for the thirsty bottoms like me. But most of all stuff about music industry, her fights for making her ideas come to life,  her relationship with other artists... How she perceives 'em..

there's no way of knowing that!!!

even if the author says it, it may or may not be true!

presenting your book as a "tell all" one is a good way to grab people's attention and sell it, and there's no way of verifying anything unless there's maybe someone aware of everything you've done and said in your life

the main purpose of these books and movies celebrities do about themselves when they are of a certain age is to promote themselves and cement their legacies therefore they will show themselves in the best light possible... and there are some stuff we'd just rather keep to ourselves!

But Mariah had the brand for that. She‘s the queen of shade, known for her sneaky opinionated comments, her troubles were well known, like her first marriage or the messiness that was her last management and so on..

So it was more of a „setting the record straight in true Mariah fashion“ thing.

Gaga is not that person, very selected about what is known about her and her brand is about kindness and having purpose. Not telling her story because it‘s about her, but more so getting others to create and thus tell their story by being an inspiration.. So a tell all with all the dirty details would be very off brand for her.

She legally can’t speak of stuff that happened during the ARTPOP era but perhaps she’d hint at stuff? I think she’d skip it all together. LG5? I’m her mind it was just a change in direction and not such a big deal as it is for the fan base. I’m interested in the chromatica era and what happened with that.

If 5F2 is anything to go by it'd be an incredibly boring read.

I don't mean she's had a boring life by any means. But it seems that when she chooses to reveal what's going on behind the scenes, she likes to focus on things that will show her as "just a regular girl" and not the juicy industry details, her artistic processes or the extreme luxury of the lives in.

Yeah, I second this. She’s very measured and calculated about what she releases and what she wants people to know and think. I don’t ever see us, the audience, knowing “everything”.

I think if she wrote it when she's old she might tell more because maybe she wouldn't care so much if people knew something that happened like, 50 yrs ago

It's about how willing you are to divulge the personal information and by how much.

I don't see Gaga writing a book for another fifteen or more years. I think she would be pretty honest, but like others have said, I don't see it being a juicy tell all by any means. It would probably sugar coat the truth about somethings, and I don't see her being legally allowed to dish about Troy or other behind the scenes info to much of an extent.
