The media continues to be trash acting like there can only be one female existing at a time in any given genre (and they're usually in their early 20s, surprise, surprise). They did the same to Kylie about The Fame (it poked some resentment from Kylie stans, still to this day in some cases ) when Kylie is, and was an inspiration to Gaga.
