In terms of promo maybe, I mean she’s pushing videos and singles left and right. I will argue chromatica is one of the best albums Gaga has released, but the promo isn’t there.

Yo levitating got like 5 youtube videos on her channel

Thanks for the feedback, which parts did you not like? Your comment is not really specific.

I think it’s overrated because critics graded it highly and it appears on a lot of year-end lists.

The first thing you said about the album was that she recycled sounds from Madonna/Gaga which is straight up false. There is nothing on FN that can resemble anything Gaga did before. As for Madonna you can kinda mention her disco album but then again FN and Confessions are nothing alike except for that 80s disco sound. Your whole review seems like it’s based on that first claim and you’re so sure you’re right that it overshadows the opinion and review itself. Also it seemed like reading a review from someone on here who’s whole world is Gaga and the bias there is imminent and quite frankly seems unprofessional.

You guys shouldn’t take this so seriously. It’s just a random end of the year article. This has zero impact in the slightest and everyone disagrees so what’s the point.

Also please don’t drag Dua because she has no involvement here and deserves the praise. It’s just badly expressed here.

I hate that some of yall fell for what the writer of the article wanted. He made this knowing it would rile the Monsters up and here we are with tons of comments bashing Dua who has been nothing but kind to Gaga and is a great artist herself.

Future Nostalgia is good, I will agree. Along with Chromatica, Disco and Positions, it's my favorite pop album of the year.

BUT, as I've been saying for a long time, she really lacks energy and stage presence and it shows. If you compare any of the FN live performances to recent Gaga or Kylie ones, Dua looks asleep, flailing her arms and twirling as choreography. It doesn't have the impact that this article claims.

Tbh she's been WAY overhyped in 2020. I get that she's gorgeous, talented and releases good pop music...but tbh she's a little lame LOL.

oh poor thing, how unfair it is to compare someone who delivered the mess that was Studio 2054 with the legend that shook us all with Infinite Disco. love Dua, but no, she's still has a lot to improve to become legend material, or to be able to outshine one.

studio 2054 was a mess? i thought it was pretty good

To “out-Gaga Gaga” means to shock the entire world. Did she release a good album? Yeah ofc. Did she shock the whole world? No lol.

FN is a good disco record but until “Good In Bed” hits and the album goes straight down the hill. I want to cut my ears off if I hear those two songs again!

Comparing a good album to actual creative albums like DISCO and Chromatica is an insult

yeah those last two songs are a choice that’s why i choose to skip them and listen to If It Ain’t Me, Love is Religion, Berlin Summer, Secrets, That Kind of Woman, Bad Idea and Talk About It

It means she had better album / album rollout this year. Stop taking it so literally.
