What a mess :toofunny:

Sony Interactive Entertainment has confirmed it will give players of Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 (or on PS5 via backward compatibility) refunds for purchasing the game. But the platform holder is taking things a step further and actually removing Cyberpunk 2077 from the PlayStation Store for digital purchase "until further notice."

"SIE strives to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, therefore we will begin to offer a full refund for all gamers who have purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store. SIE will also be removing Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store until further notice. "Once we have confirmed that you purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store, we will begin processing your refund. Please note that completion of the refund may vary based on your payment method and financial institution."

"All copies of the game previously purchased digitally on PlayStation Store remain available for use by their respective buyers," confirmed CD Projekt in its statement. "Gamers can still buy physical versions of the game in retail and mail order stores."

CD Projekt also asserted that all digital and physical copies of Cyberpunk 2077 "will continue to receive support and updates ."

MESS.  Sony usually has its sh*t together.  I’d expect this type of chaos from Microsoft.

Ummm, I've never seen Microsoft pull something like this, but go off

Queen Bitch

I just learned that CDPR also released one of the worst PC ports in history, for Saints Row 2. It's so bad that they're still trying to fix it a decade later:toofunny:

They did so good with The Witcher 2 and 3. But like, it seems they were more lucky with those than anything.

It's not Sony's fault CDPR royally screwed up lol

CDPR dumped the responsibility of refunding their broken game on Sony and Microsoft instead of handling it themselves; I think it's reasonable Sony doesn't want to sell a broken product on their store when the studio is trying to make the other companies handle their mess.

This release has been such a huge mess on consoles which is a shame because the game is huge and very, very good (despite how glitchy it is), I'm enjoying it a lot. :/ They need to get their **** together and fire a lot of people, they should have handled this whole situation better.

feeling so hot tamale
