Good for Spain. It's interesting to see a monarchy being more progressive than several republics, no shade

Literally, I spent hours watching the whole debate and the only thing the oppositors could say was:

It's still a very dual country in terms of progressive vs conservative ideas, but yeah, despite having a dated and corrupted monarchy, when the left is in power, optimistic laws like this get approved from time to time

How is it that you all agree with having a monarchy basically handpicked by Franco :poot: One thing is having the Bourbons because of tradition but that wasn't Franco's reasoning was it

It's a happy day to celebrate, so don't make me start talking about the monarchy here :trollga: If they ever have the guts to make a referendum about monarchy I am sure the republic would win, but Franco heritage is still quite present in the system to allow that, more than 40 years later :madge:
