RenegAde 18,399
I remember during the early days of chromatica everyone was so mad at gaga for "taking so long" to release LG6 .... i feel like if she had just waited another month she would have seen the mess the year would eventually turn out to be and maybe hold back the album and keep us feed with one or two quarantine singles ... i think this is better than having an era that seems unfinished . So would you have prefared getting chromatica next year with the full rollout and plans accomplished or getting it a year earlier (this year) and experience all the roadblocks we experienced
chromatic puzea 9,908
I would acc love this but the VMAs would've been literally nothing without gaga this year but it would be so amazing to experience the "blockbuster" promo they had in store that all went in the garbage hard to even fathom which parts you should believe
Red 95,711
Hmm what we got is good enough for me to think that hearing people complain about the lack of promo while listening to Chromatica is better than hearing people complaining Gaga has disappeared and no new music If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating. LaLa 19,270
I think if Stupid Love was scheduled for March and not Feb, she would have postponed the whole thing -- single and album, without saying a word, and we wouldn't have heard anything at all from her this year. Maybe Together At Home and voting, but no personal music. So I'll take the era we got, and look back at it fondly as emblematic of the year 2020. Sorcerer92 837
I couldn't have made it through this god awful year without Chromatica. I'm glad she went through with the release. Unlike so many fans, I don't need promotion to enjoy the music. With an immaculate album such as this, the art speaks for itself and promotion isn't needed or necessary. Im glad this has been a quite era.
Reality 73,745
I mean, I'm fine with it as it is. Tbh, I just kinda want this era to be over with so that Gaga could either focus on her acting career or her next album. Chromatica was amazing album, but the era was such a dud. There's been some great moments, and I'm sure with the new SC stuff coming, we'll get some more stuff, but overall, it's just been a really up-and-down era that I'm just kinda ready to let go off. I would be okay if she delayed it to 2021 only if we got a standalone single or two in 2020. I mean, could you imagine 2020 without new Gaga music? ᗰᗩYᕼEᗰ || 🦇👹🖤
Luke78619 23,072
Imagine if she released it late 2019 though, the absolute potential we could have had insta: good_lukeing | I have nothing else to promote
Nycboy 988
I don’t have a problem with the fact that she released the full album. I think artists these days should actually elongate their eras because if the music is good, it shouldn’t go out of style. I remember reading somewhere that Daft Punk was contemplating touring for Random Access Memories YEARS after they released that masterpiece of an album, and honestly I loved that strategy. A great body of work doesn’t need to be tied down to such a specific moment in time, and then killed right after. Good music should transcend time (or at least can be revisited with time). It’s really cool to think that Daft Punk might still be in their Random Access Memories “era” from 2014 even though they aren’t actively promoting the album anymore. I’d be happy if Gaga managed to keep Chromatica in our consciousness for the foreseeable future, but I don’t think she needs to keep releasing singles to radio or music videos. Let the music sit with the fans for a while. Release new music, or not. Go on tour in 2021 or even 2022, and if people think Chromatica is no longer relevant by then, well then that’s just their opinion.
NFRatwell 23,290
Knowing Gaga if the plan was album this summer and lead in April we would’ve never heard this album lol
Glamourpuss 29,062
I think the era we got was better than nothing. I don't think I could have coped with another year of no Gaga music.

RAMROD 106,084
I don't have any recollection of these things But, I don't think waiting longer is good for her, though. We are in streaming era, often times there are no breathing space between one popular release to another, there were always some song that becomes heavy hitter and streamed by millions if people. If she kept waiting, she will lost momentum even more. Superbowl or before ENIGMA Vegas shows were one of those grear moment that could help her to gain interest, but those were slipped away. Madonna circa 2010s, Gwen Stefani, Nelly Furtado, and Fergie are enough example how older acts are forgotten because young people doesn't listen to them anymore. At least with radios they can have their own playlists on rotation so you get to various kind of artists and genres. That thing dows not exists in streaming game cos it is all about your own choices. Ronk 14,511
I would have preferred a 2021 release after covid is no longer a problem. It would have been a superb era. With the quality of the album, Gaga would have slain everybody. I live outside the space time continuum.
Chromatican 4,046
Monsters were super impatient in late 2019, and postponing the album release after the Stupid Love leak would've just been a huge mess, not to mention the VMAs being a missed opportunity. If she wanted to launch it in Q4 2019 I think the era would've been amazing, but Covid ruined most of 2020, and Gaga has other commitments in 2021.
