How does SC video continue the end of 911?

911 was not released as a single but the video was fantastic. Same thing she did with John Wayne.

I think in both cases, the reason she did not release either song as a promo was partially because they were treated as “side projects” within the album itself. JW was released between Million Reasons and Joanne, both very sweet songs simple, basic videos and with a very Christian feel and narrative while JW was a glossy, big production music video containing drugs, cars and redneck imagery!

911 was also not set in Chromatica but Earth and again the feel and look seemed seperate from Stupid Love and Chromatica. And as with John Wayne, it was never pushed as a single. So if she released Sour Candy it would not be a continuation in any way to 911 imo.

That’s because Sine from Above isn’t apart of the second chapter of Chromatica. That’s what these are people, WAKE UP! “The journey continues” = Next Chapter. So, Sine from Above could still carry on from where 911 left off but they decided on Sour Candy first probably because of Elton John and travelling maybe? or maybe it’s just not the right time. (Also 911=Earth/Her Life) (Sour Candy could be based on Chromatica) Sine from Above might interconnect Earth and Chromatica is what I’m thinking.

 

edit: also, I don’t think there is any continuation, I think it was solely about her life and mental health. Sine From Above does make way to much sense as a continuation though, so, I wouldn’t be surprised to see it happen.

I never understood why everyone says that tbh. To me, they only put it in the outro because they needed music over the scene cause otherwise it be very empty and logically they used the only instrumental that was available in the album aka CIII, especially that it works very well with the atmosphere of the scene. I highly doubt it hints to anything more than that and I feel like people have been overreading into it a lot every since the video came out. Also the 911 video/concept felt complete and really does not need a continuation.
