I don't even care anymore at this point. I've been saying this since this era started and got dragged so many times :huntyga: now i have way lower expectations from her

I don't understand why everyone is concerned about whether Haus Labs is a cash grab or not. It's a product her and her team have put a lot of work into, and it's paying off. Sure, it's not music, but in a world where she can't tour there's not much she can do music wise to actually keep up with her bills

I agree with most of your point but the last part:ladyhaha:

She's worth over 300 million dollars. She could never lift a finger again and still make thousands if not millions every year from royalties/streams/old album sales. She's really not struggling to pay her bills.

I thought of it as in Industry plant 'cause she is not doing anything music related as if she were a plastic plant :poot:

I have to politely, and respectfully disagree. If she was an industry plant, as you say, she wouldn't have had an organic come-up in the first place. She's just branching out into things other than music. I know we all want music, promo, and performances from her, but she also has the free will to do whatever she pleases :ohwell:

A lot of artists are not touring but are giving Virtual Content, something I would expect from Gaga giving the fact that she has preached about trying to use technology for her advantage yet in a world full of technology she decided to stay away from it virtually. And I’m sorry and I know it’s been said before but makeup is not the reason why we decided to Stan her for example Rihanna, yes she has Fenty one of the most lucrative celebrity brands and her fans still bother her for music because that’s what they singed up for(sorry king I hate to compare artists but that’s the closest example)

Doesn't that show that she's not been constantly held to pop music?:poot:

She's spent more than half of her career doing things other than dance pop. But there's a reason she will always be associated with and remembered for her avant-gard pop stuff.

Also if she cared about what her fans appreciated she would not be ditching music for makeup and watches:interestinga:

wasn't basically cheek2cheek and Joanne just her image stabiliser and rerouted the perception the general public had on her. I was referring to how the fans always bring her back to pop music and are obsessed over it, the fans constantly hold her to pop music. and then get disappointed when she doesn't care about pop music.

The general public loves shallow, arutw, million reasons. She's not local anymore (she will never ditch music as you've mentioned, only perhaps pop music:giggle:

That’s not what industry plant means, but I totally agree with the OP :enigma:

The album is amazing of course, but as practically a day one stan this era has been really disheartening. Not only because of the lack of promotion but also her attitude

some of y'all forget that haus labs kinda flopped and it shows

How did it flop when it’s only one year old? :bear: It’s a startup with very little investment and they take time to establish. It’s not like Fenty Beauty which is owned by the richest man of Europe :enigma:

More power to her if this is how she wants to secure a legacy and I'm glad I've been stanning an artist that's so driven and ambitious. What I feel like is not there anymore is a commitment to her vision with the music she's been putting out, this era having me really confused on where she stands now.

For one, wasn't she so "technologic" during The Fame, and "techHaus" was an ARTPOP thing? Where's that forward thinking in 2020, where artists are relying on technology more than ever? But I guess that's a different topic of discussion...
