Early betting odds for the 2021 Grammy Awards for “Big Four”

Popular betting website MyBookie lists Taylor Swift’s “folklore” as winner for Album of the Year and her “cardigan” as the favorite in the Song of the Year category. Dua Lipa’s “Don’t Start Now” is the frontrunner for the Record of the Year and Megan Thee Stallion sfor the Best New Artist category.

Last year, they correctly predicted Billie Eilish’s wins for Best New Artist and Album of the Year. They did not list her “Bad Guy” as the favorite for Song of the Year (Lizzo’s “Truth Hurts” was the favorite) and Record of the Year (Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus’ “Old Town Road” was the favorite). She ended up sweeping all general field categories.

Well if we stick to the requirements of the SOTY category, it could win, because it’s an award for songwriting. Obviously the Grammys don’t always stick to that, but it winning would fit the actual requirements of the category.
